I don't usually do this often so..... here are my mixed thoughts blog anyway...

As you know... September was not a very good month for Video Games, but Except for Astro Bot cuz it is fun n' enjoyable with a lot of cameos of fan-favorite Playstation characters, it's a good stinger, but what else turns me off about Video Games boom this month is the Minecraft Movie and PS5 Pro, ok... let's start off with Minecraft...

I've heard not too long ago that Minecraft is getting it's own movie, i thought it was gonna be Live-Action and Animated with y'know... Jack Black and Jason Momoa casted in, and later on i've seen some magazines promoting for the movie but the characters are not what i think they are, cuz they're not... nope... and then few weeks ago, the Minecraft Trailer dropped by Warner Bros. and........... yeah... i'm as indifferent as i was when i saw this trailer... look, don't get me wrong, i don't hate the trailer, and i think it captures everything that's a little faithful to the game with the world building, it's settings, and just clicks with me fine, but... the CGI and the cast, especially Jack Black in there, it just made me cringe so much...

I mean it's like Hollywood themselves are trying to shove in these actors to kids to know them, just... they wanted them to watch the Movie involving Jack and Jason because of Kung Fu Panda, Jumanji, Aquaman and Fast X, and when Jack says to their guests "I am Steve", everyone fucking rolled their eyes and couldn't buy that is him, but we couldn't not see and hear him, we just saw Jack Black trying to be Steve, ugh... could've been better if we have best different actors other than these A-List actors.

And the CGI... i don't think it's that bad but they shouldn't milk in money to make CGI look like realistic video game cutscenes like they did with Borderlands, and the Sheep, Zombie Pigs and the Lama, well...... it's not as bad as i expected, but they could've done better with them just.... OK... Why not just make it fully animated...??? it could've worked like with the Illumination's Mario Movie, and this is what we get at the end??? GAAAAAAAAH....... If this fails... then i'm likely gonna skip this movie overall like i did with the Borderlands Movie and Kung Fu Panda 4, I didn't see Alien Romulus cuz i just think it's another Alien '97 throwback so i just went and saw Coraline instead... um......... what was i talking about again...?

Finally let's get to the PS5 Pro, when the PS5 Pro was rumored, if they backed in more storage and enhance the specs a little bit, i would buy it, and then a week ago, the PS5 is finally revealed, when i looked at the design, it looks beautiful and i can see how it improved the Slim with 3 bars and brough back the visible fans like with the original PS5, it's cool and all, but there is a downgrade, it doesn't attach with a disc drive anymore, um... ya think this is a big deal to not have the retail version of the PS5 Pro? i mean... it's not a bad idea, if it's for the Digital-Only fans, then i'm fine with it, but it is disappointing for us Retail fans to not return it's disc drive attatched, buuuuuuut... there is an optional disc drive that'll be on sale, but... ugh..... it still cost likely as a PS Plus and a 1TB SD Card, so far this downgrade sucks anyways. :/

And just then when i saw the price tag and it's selling above to SEVEN TO NINE HUNDREAD FUCKING DOLLARS?!?!??!? It's like buying a Macbook Pro decade all over again, did they have to milk in much money for this new bandwagon upgrade, i mean seriously, do we have to pay for all this??? and for what??? GTA 6 for enhancement with beautiful realistic graphic like what Hollywood was doing with the MCU movies??? Y'know what... NO... i am NOT paying $700 for this upgrade, i can just buy off the Slim than this AI-Enhanced cashgrab, the PS4 Pro was a big deal 9 years ago and we threw in money for twice as much space of storage and faster frame rates n' GPU power with this beautiful look, why can't we have that treatment instead and LET US JUST HAVE A LARGER STORAGE AND SMOOTH GPU PERFORMANCE BY $500 ENOUGH...!?!?!? Sorry, i had a bit of an episode here...

Well... the AI-Enhancement isn't as bad taking it a super resolution, it's a nice concept like with other 8K TVs, and the ray tracing n' optimized performance has been improved too, but i would rather have improved performance instead of these HD enhancement cuz they fucking hurt my eyes a little and they did have to milk in much money to these either, and with $700 for these, yeah... we're not upgrading to a Pro if that cost a little too much for a next-gen console and it shows too, it's not as bad as Concord that has crashed and burned, but as much as this has been criticized, yeah... we're likely not gonna pay that much money for this new look n' all. :/ 

And there's also a Playstation 30th Anniversary Collection pack for the PS5 as well, so if anyone want a PS1 decal for your PS5, then go for a Slim rather than the Pro cuz it's enough for you and you can Upgrade the Solid State Drive anytime better than the Pro, you're better off buying the PS5 Slim overall.

Welp... that was a shitshow for both PS5 Pro and the Minecraft Movie this month, and as i'm skipping both of them unless they figure this situation out, well... that's leaves us at the end of the journal here, i'm just gonna get back to my Halloween Project and fix my Twitter, til' next time!
